The Wakes community venue opened in 2017, and the facilities on offer have gone from strength to strength. Oakengates Town Council is proud of their building and the free community activities and events on offer.
We also have reasonably priced function meeting rooms, a free community arts craft space, IT room free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Forge cafe are open Tuesday through to Saturday, 9am - 3pm selling freshly prepared tea, coffee, cake and light lunches.
